Hello!
I’m Elize. Helping people navigate life’s challenges has always been something I’m deeply passionate about. As a mom to a tween daughter, I’ve seen firsthand the pressures young people face - whether it’s schoolwork, friendships, or simply figuring out who they are in a very busy world. That inspired me to start this coaching journey.
Growing up, I wasn’t the star student or the best athlete - I was the kid with glasses and braces, working hard to find my place. In my early twenties, I put myself through university while working full time, and those years taught me resilience and perseverance. I wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything, because they shaped how I see life: it’s not about making things easy, it’s about learning how to make the best of it, even when it throws challenges your way.
With a BA Hons in Clinical Psychology, I’ve spent time involved in different welfare projects and organisations supporting children and teenagers. One thing I’ve noticed is how limited the resources for tweens and teens can be - and even when they exist, they often don’t resonate with the kids themselves.
That’s why my focus is on giving young people practical tools and real-life strategies they can relate to. I help them face challenges head-on, learn how to work with life instead of against it, and come out the other side stronger and more equipped.
How I work
Judgement free zone
Every session is a judgement-free space where teens and tweens can feel safe, heard, and respected. They are encouraged to show up exactly as they are, without fear of criticism or misunderstanding, and to speak openly about whatever they’re navigating. I act as both a confidant and a mentor, offering support with empathy and without imposing judgement. This space is fully inclusive, welcoming every young person regardless of their religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or personal beliefs, and empowering them to better understand themselves and grow with confidence.
Confidentiality
Conversations with your young person are treated as confidential to create a safe space where they feel comfortable being open and honest. This allows me to better understand and support the core challenges they may be facing. Confidentiality is always handled responsibly, and if I believe additional therapeutic or professional intervention would be beneficial, I will communicate this with you as the parent or care giver and provide appropriate guidance or recommendations.
No harm policy
I am here to support all young people, regardless of their experiences or the roles they may find themselves in, whether feeling hurt or having caused hurt. My approach is rooted in understanding, accountability, and growth, not judgement or labelling. However, I do not condone harm in any form — to oneself or to others. This space is built on respect, responsibility, and the commitment to helping each individual develop healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to the world around them.
Fun is mandatory!
I have a light-hearted approach to coaching. I believe that being human (and real) can bring people out of their shells, so my coaching sessions are filled with informal chatting and laughing about life. This helps create an atmosphere of trust and a willingness to share.

How coaching works
Once you've booked your child's first session with me, we start the coaching. The sessions are 50 minutes long (video calls via Zoom or Google Meet) and I record them for reference purposes. All my coaching sessions with your child are confidential. This means that I will not share any information your young person does not want me to share. This confidentiality is, of course, limited to legal and self-harm concerns; in which case I will let you know that more serious interventions are required.
Coaching structure
Each coaching session is different, because each young person is! That being said, I have a structure of analysis and exploration; coaching through probing, being curious, offering techniques and feedback; having constructive conversations on how to move forward; and feedback on how to best prepare for next session (if any).
